Overview: Panel moderator Lennie Moore presents the GDC 2010 Composer Challenge, where last year's champion, Mick Gordon, takes on three new challengers of experienced and emerging videogame composers to see who can create the most interesting music under a difficult design challenge.

This year, the assignment will be to design a 60-second Main Title for a contemporary version of the game PACMAN 2010. This new version of the theme can include the original theme, variations on that theme, or be inspired from the original material and go in an entirely unrecognizable direction.

Starting with a MIDI file of the original Pacman theme as reference material, composers must create an exciting, unique, contemporary redesign and development of the theme using all of the modern tools available.
