Overview In 2013, seven of the top 10 grossing F2P games were eSports titles, accounting for $2.85B in revenues. With eSports viewership and prize pools topping major sports, organized competitions and content have become inseparable from PVP games. eSports is driven by a complex ecosystem of developer/publishers, competition organizations, content producers, media buyers, players and spectators.
