Overview:

Although there are many applicable and shared skills when designing a singleplayer level vs. designing a multiplayer level, there is a paradigm shift when designing for each type. What elements are critical in SP narrative levels but aren't worth the energy to consider when designing a MP level? How does playtesting differ between each? During this talk, Elisabeth Beinke-Schwartz will draw from her own experiences in designing singleplayer narrative levels and her transition to designing multiplayer levels, sharing lessons learned regarding what you should devote your time to when designing for a SP vs. MP level in addition to what you shouldn't waste your time on.
