Overview: Working with physical spaces isn't a common practice in game development, but it's an essential process for Peardrum and their development on game series, 'Nakam'. Creative Director Veve Jaffa will discuss how urban exploration shaped the environmental design and art for the game, using the process of photogrammetry to record, composite and create 3D digital environments of physical space. In addition to the technical process and challenges inherent in incorporating real world game elements, they will discuss the significance of exploring physical space in improving narrative, game design and world-building.
