MOOCs are a new educational approach for many game educators and the questions are legion. How do you design, develop, deliver and teach a course in which tens of thousands of students register for it? What are the components? What are the platforms like? Are the relationships between the administration and the educator different than in standard courses? How do you handle assessment? Why would you even want to do such a crazy thing? The presenters will share their battle stories, experiences and lessons learned and provide some guidelines for success for teaching game development MOOCs, online, or hybrid courses.
