Overview: What the hell is wrong with the game industry? And more importantly, what are you going to do about it? Burning Down the House returns to the GDC for another year of explosive tirades, heartfelt anger, and revolutionary manifestos. Cutting through the clutter of polite industry chit-chat, "Burning Down the House" takes on the issues that matter to developers in a no-holds-barred format.

The invited panelists, each a veteran from the trenches of game development, say whatever they want about whatever they want. You have been warned.

Hosted within the IGDA track, Burning Down the House is about identifying solutions as well as problems. The audience has a chance to respond to the rants and join in the discussion. Topics address issues of concrete importance to game developers, and the session is used to generate action items for IGDA's work in the future.
