This presentation offers a critical exploration of the creation of the Johnny Crash franchise JOHNNY CRASH and sequel JOHNNY CRASH STUNTMAN DOES TEXAS - from the initial idea through design and production to the final product. Special focus in this postmortem is on creation of original character-based game brands. It discusses the strategic value of developing own, original content-based intellectual property and explores the pros and cons of this approach when compared to licensing IP from other entertainment industries.
