Overview: Today there are more kinds of games and more ways to access and play games than ever before. Games created by small teams with small budgets are being played by people around the world. But this Camelot has its challenges. Not all these platforms have produced a diverse mix of profitable titles. Some platforms generate hits in one genre, for one brand or when the game is given away for free.

Don Daglow has led teams for 30 years, from the Atari vs. Intellivision wars to the 360, PS3 and Wii. Now an independent Game Producer and Designer, he works with start- ups and established publishers on platforms from consoles to social media.

In this session hell share how to look at platforms, distribution methods, business models and audiences and answer the critical question, Where will people play my next game, and how will they buy it?
