Overview: VR is still new enough that most people will have their first VR experience at a live event, whether that's a conference, a meetup, a house-party, or at a VR arcade. Hosting and showing VR content at an event is an important skill for everyone in the VR industry, as those in it are all ambassadors for this new medium. A great experience can create an enthusiastic customer, but a single bad experience can scare someone away from ever putting on a headset again.FarBridge has hosted several multi-day VR arcade events, and given thousands of people their first experience in virtual reality. Patrick Curry and Melissa Swanepoel will share FarBridge's best practices for planning and executing live VR events, space setup, hygiene, managing equipment, staffing, and turning great experiences into calls-to-action.
