Ten days before launching SteamWorld Dig in August 2013, Brjann Sigurgeirsson and his team at Image & Form thought they had a great game - but only vague ideas on how to market it. This session will discuss the PR tricks and release strategies Image & Form applied in order to make SteamWorld Dig a multi-platform success without any marketing money to speak of. Brjann will also mention what they could have done better, and also the difficult design decisions they had to make.
