Overview This session will be a postmortem of the team at Demiurge, who were tasked with making free-to-play games without having any prior experience. This talk will describe in detail how we converted our traditional console team into a games-as-a-service, free-to-play group. We will discuss the specific missteps and happy accidents that happened throughout the course of developing our first free-to-play games, and how it even changed the way we do traditional development for the better.
