Beta Testing: Succeed or Die


This session is intended for developers who are interested in learning about beta testing and the important role it plays in free-to-play game development. Details of the talk will include selecting the optimal territories for testing, setting measurable KPIs, analyzing data and using it to improve the game, and the overall benefits and challenges of beta testing. Attendees will also be walked through a case study containing real-life successes and failures, in addition to other areas of interest, such as beta testing a live-ops strategy and how to approach cheaters during a beta launch.
