Focusing on the experiences and learnings of an artist who moved from AAA retail development to browser-based and then mobile game development, the talk will give clear insight into the pros and cons of each sector. The session will cover the aspects most relevant to artists, including approaches to art production, the effect of target audience and platform constraints on art direction, and the skill set required for an artist to successfully transverse across all three industry sectors.
