Overview: In this talk, Zack Johnson, the creative director of acclaimed slap-stick-figure cowboy RPG 'West of Loathing' discusses the team's approach to comedy. The talk will mosey down a list of bullet points (some of them about bullet jokes) enumerating the lessons they've learned in their decade-plus experience of writing video game gags. The team behind 'West of Loathing' has concluded that comedy in games works best if you a) fully commit to it, b) do it in a joyful way instead of a mean way, c) can easily come up with a third thing for a list.
