From iOS to Android - Galaxy on Fire 2 Does the Green Robot

Overview:

Galaxy on Fire 2(TM) has bagged numerous industry awards setting the benchmark for hardcore games on the App Store. It is one of the very rare premium games with over 5,000 solid five stars user ratings worldwide selling at $9.99 successfully since its release in October 2010 on iPhone and iPad. The epic space simulation has been ported to Android within six months and was recently launched with optimized controls for the PlayStation certified gaming buttons of the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY and as a dedicated version for Nvidia Tegra2-powered smartphones and tablets, featuring four times enhanced textures and up to four times enhanced meshes. Marc Hehmeyer, CTO of FISHLABS, will share the fundamental learnings in the porting process to Android on its various versions (Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb) as well as in the submission process to Android Market and carrier owned app stores.
