As we build and extend VR environments, there is a continuously growing need to be able to interact with 2D UI's embedded within the 3D world. This talk will discuss four challenges and some solutions for: 1.) Integrating such 2D UIs into the world, 2.) Projecting UI onto planar and non-planar surface, 3.) Interacting with them with a variety of controllers, both traditional mouse and keyboard, and otherwise, and 4.) Coping with depth disparity or occlusion.
