Taking Food Network 'On The Road'


Foodies are a ravenous bunch, hungry for both experiences and information. Food Network recognized that it could do more for its viewers by compiling all of its on-air restaurant mentions into a companion piece to its programming. Food Network On the Road is a rich, cleanly designed app experience that lets users organize recommendations by city, chef, and show, save them into custom road trips, and share plans with friends. Sequence Experience Director AJ Kiefer and Development Lead Alex Fajkowski will discuss the ins and outs of creating this Webby-award-winning app experience from both a technical and UX perspective.
