Overview:

Concept art is a dead. What AAA games need now are not Concept artists but Concept DESIGNERS with a refined sensibility for storytelling, shape design and cinematic lighting. This means abandoning some old ideas about how to do "sketches" and how to involve the client, and moving towards building mockups in 3d, kitbashing, photobashing and utilizing new technology as it comes to help truly visualize a world that is clear unique, tells a story and is actually fucking useful for a modeler to build off.
