World of Tanks on Xbox 360 is the most successful Free-to-Play game on any console to date. Not a simple port, it required a lot of "Firsts" for game, severs and Xbox Live. Now the game is headed to Xbox One and continuing on the sometimes painful, but ultimately rewarding, road of "Firsts."
This session will cover how World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition got made and the challenges we faced then and now on Xbox One. Changes had to be made to almost every aspect of the game, mechanics, art style, UI, monetization, progression and infrastructure.
