Beyond Scrum: Agile Project Management for Games

Overview:

The session is not an introduction to Scrum. It describes how Scrum fits in to an entire game project management framework. It describes how Scrum practices change over the course of concept development, pre-production and production. It describes how Lean practices such as Value Stream Mapping and Kanban can be added to Scrum in production to shift the focus from iterative development to those that maximize efficiency. It will describe how risk is managed so that even teams with fixed ship dates can use Scrum.
