Overview: This session will explore the optimization techniques used to allow creation of the impressive visuals of 'The Gallery: Heart of the Emberstone' while meeting the stringent performance requirements of virtual reality. This includes specific techniques such as use of culling groups, portalization, shader editing and material selection. It also touches on more general optimization strategies that are applicable to a large range of project types, as well as examples of how internal tools can be helpful in the optimization process.
