This is an overview of the art direction for the visually striking VR game The Last Clockwinder, from early concepts to final polish. In this talk, you'll learn how the game's art direction creates a sense of unity between the game's various aspects, from mechanics to narrative. You'll also discover how the game's visual design creates a believable, grounded world for players to explore. Art Director Anita Tung will show early brainstorms, style proof of concepts and final assets, all created with a small team that worked within the technical constraints of mobile VR hardware.
