This talk will showcase how Outerloop Games combined 2D and 3D techniques to create a compelling, illustrative look with a fully remote, small indie art team. We'll discuss how the cultural aspects of the team lead to the stylistic visual direction and themes in Thirsty Suitors. How we leveraged and designed for the strengths of the team, looked for scalable solutions, and how we believe specificity of experience and fantasy can be universal in appeal.
