Session Name:

Game Education Case Study Microtalks

Overview:

This session has a series of microtalks from educators working in different disciplines that make up games, including game development, technical art, design, and game studies. Come learn about how to get students to write better papers, why learning about old game consoles still has value for our programmers, encouraging 3D artists to explore technical art, and how to have students meaningfully connect with community partners. There is something here for everyone, as presented by Seth Hudson (George Mason University), Tom Tesch (Howest University of Applied Sciences), Jingtian Li (University of the Incarnate Word), and MJ Johns (UC Santa Cruz).
