Over the last forty years, the center of the video game world has shifted from arcade games to PC games to console games -- and 2009 and 2010 have now shown some erosion in console video game sales. Is this just a hiccup, or the prelude to a full blown market crash? As game creators, what degree of adaptation is required in order to meet coming challenges?
