Recent changes to the COPPA rules, as well as massive in-app advertising increases, have led to a surge of interest in and concern about the applicability of COPPA. In this session, Siofra will discuss the main exceptions to COPPA, including the definitions of personal information and persistent identifiers, and what constitutes advertising. The talk will show how to assess your game for COPPA applicability and, if the rules apply, how to continue advertising across your user base while remaining COPPA compliant.
